All cats are granted one power by the Mother and Father Zodiacs, be it Spiritual, Physical, or the abilities of a Medic. This strength will determine their role within the Sign they go to, and will remain with them for the rest of their lives. Even after fully mastering their power, it is not possible to learn another unless made a Chieftain.

There is no way to change to a different ability or power, and each must accept his / her strengths and weaknesses with pride.

[KITS]

Kits are not born with any powers, and will be completely average. They will be vulnerable, as with all babies, and unable to fight. It will be unknown, to the kit as well as those around them, which Sign they will go to until their crest has appeared. It is only after the crest has made a full appearance that they will gain their power and in turn go to their new Sign.

[NOVICES]

As a Novice, one will have gained their powers and been sent to their indicated Sign. Depending on their ability, they will then be trained to become either a Stalker (Physical Power), a Knight (Spiritual Power), or a Medic (Healing). In this new home they will be given a mentor, and will be taught to hone and eventually master their ability.

In the early stages of training, they will have difficulty controlling and stabilizing their powers, meaning that no Novice will be able to take on a Prime and win.

With the progression of time, the young Novices will steadily become more skilled at controlling and maintaining their abilities. They will find things easier and easier.

Near the end of their training, a Novice will be able to fully utilize their abilities, and will be very close to being made a full Stalker, Knight, or Medic.

[PRIMES]

These cats are the backbone of their designated Signs, and have all completed their training. Full control of their abilities has been achieved through much training and hard work. They are the strength behind each Sign, and they stand to protect and defend one another.

At this time, a Prime can be given a Novice to train and oversee, and this is a large responsibility. Only a Prime who has fully mastered their power will be allowed to take on this duty. They will continue to practice their own abilities, while teaching the younger generation everything that they know.

Though already considered masters of their abilities, it doesn’t hurt to continue training and studying to discover new uses for powers. The work of a Prime is tiresome and demanding, one can never know too much.

[CHIEFTAINS]

The best of the best, these cats have completed their Novice training, and served in the duties of a Prime. They are chosen for their cunning, their integrity, their strength, and numerous other qualities. Every Chieftain is different, and has been hand-picked by the Mother and Father zodiacs because of their own unique qualities.

Upon being deemed the rank of Chieftain, one is granted the ability to hone and master all other powers from their branch. What this means is that a Chief of Aries who was once a Stalker, would have all three of the Physical Aries powers.

Example 1;
Chieftain Taurus was a Knight, meaning their abilities were Spiritual. They had the power 1. Rock Flight. Upon becoming Chieftain, they were also granted 2. Sticky Sap and 3. Obstacle Course.

Example 2;
Chieftain Gemini was a Stalker, meaning they had Physical ability. They had the power 1. Multiplication. Once granted the rank of Chieftain, they received the abilities 2. Double the Trouble and 3. No Longer One.
